La Mamine BOOKING CONDITIONS 1    The property is let from 4pm on Saturday until 10am on the final Saturday unless agreed in writing 2    Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a cheque payable to Paul Woodward for a deposit of 20% of the total weekly rent. The balance, plus a second cheque for the breakage deposit (see below), will be required at least 10 weeks prior to your holiday. If the booking is made within 10 weeks of the start of the rental then the full amount is payable at the time of Booking. 3    A refund can normally be obtained subject to the conditions of your own Personal and Cancellation insurance. If a cancellation occurs more than 10 weeks before arrival, which is not covered by your insurance, the hirer will not be held liable for the balance. Should such a cancellation occur less than 10 weeks before arrival then the hirer is liable for the full cost of the letting. We will, however, make every effort to re-let the property, in which event a full refund, less deposit and any expenses or additional costs incurred will be made. 4     A refundable breakage deposit of £200 (or Euros 280) is required, payable with the final balance. This is held to cover any breakage or damage that may occur. This deposit, less the cost of any breakage etc that may occur, will be refunded within two weeks of the end of your stay. The weekly rental includes for normal cleaning of the property. Beds are equipped with duvets and pillows, but you will need to bring your own bed linen, towels etc with you. Alternatively, we can arrange for these items to be delivered to the house in readiness for your arrival, at a cost of £16 (E23) per person'. Any extra cleaning deemed necessary after departure will be charged and the amount deducted from the breakage deposit. Should the deposit be inadequate to cover such charges, it is a condition of booking that any balances be paid promptly following notification. 5    The use of the accommodation and amenities is entirely at the user's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to a user or visitor or loss or damage to the user's or visitor's belongings. The hirer is further responsible for the safe use of the swimming pool by their fellow party members. 6    Specifically, in view of differing levels in the house and garden, some with steep drops, and the existence of a pool, we do not consider the house suitable for very young children. Please be aware, therefore, as the hirer signing this form, of your clear responsibility in this respect in accordance with general condition number 5 above. 7    Personal belongings and baggage are at the hirer's risk at all times. 8    No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any vehicle. 9    The hirer is responsible for the care of the property and its contents during the holiday. It is important to ensure that an appropriate Personal and Cancellation holiday insurance is in place giving adequate cover.
